Level 1 (Beginner) - Cuban Salsa

Next class: Tuesdays, March 6 - 27

Time: 6 - 7:30 p.m. at Impulse Bar & Grill.

Pre-registration is required since space is limited.

An introduction to Cuban Salsa (Casino) as well as the beginner motion of Rueda de Casino. Foundation motions include guapea, dile que no, vacilala and enchunfla plus a ton of Rueda moves. No experience required ... meant for beginners in Cuban Salsa.

Cost: $40 per person for four-week course

Learn to dance Cuban Salsa

Level 2 - 3 (Adv. Beg.) - Cuban Salsa

Level 3: Wednesdays, March 7 - 28

Time: 6 - 7:30 p.m. at Impulse Bar & Grill.

Levels 2 and 3 continue to fill in your basic skills for Cuban Salsa and Rueda de Casino by adding in key foundation motions (such as exhibela, siete, adios) and developing your sense of timing, leading, following and overall good dance technique. Registration is required since space is limited.

We offer classes and often workshops in Cuban dance. Most of our classes are held each month in four-week sessions. Classes cover the foundation motions of Cuban Salsa (Casino) and beyond. Internationally recognized instructors, Mike and Simona, will teach you to dance in an easy-to-learn manner. In addition, you will also learn the basics of Rueda de Casino, a fun, social dance from Cuba that is popular around the world, but particularly in Corvallis.

Level 5: Wednesdays, March 7 - 28

Time: 7:30 - 9 p.m. at Impulse Bar & Grill.

In these classes, you will complete the last of the basic foundation motions of Cuban Salsa. We’ll help you to develop good lead and follow techniques, Casino style and flavor, footwork and body motion, and attaining a higher level of skill in both rueda and couples dancing.

Cost: $40 per person for the four-week course.

Levels 4 - 5 (intermediate) - Cuban Salsa

No partner necessary for classes.

Anyone 16 and older may participate in class.

Refund policy: Our classes are non-refundable after the first week. This is due to space limitations and the need to pay the bills.
